Edwin Kirk

Edwin Kirk is a clinical geneticist and genetic pathologist with a longstanding clinical and research interest in the genetics of congenital heart disease. Areas of study include gene identification in Mendelian forms of congenital heart disease, the use of a mouse model to study the genetics of atrial septal dysmorphogenesis and the psychological impact of congenital heart disease. He is based at Sydney Children’s Hospital and NSW Health Pathology Randwick.
