Claire O'Donovan

Claire O’Donovan is a health psychologists from New Zealand with a clinical and research focus on psychological impacts of congenital and inherited cardiac conditions. She has focused on anxiety and depression, treatment adherence and patient perceptions of risk, completing her PhD as part of the multidisciplinary Cardiac Inherited Disease Group. She is currently placed with the intensive care unit at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland along with a Senior Lecturer role in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Auckland University of Technology.
