Associate Professor Stiles is the Director of Electrophysiology for the Midland region of New Zealand, where he performs device implants and percutaneous ablation procedures. He trained in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. Martin completed his PhD at the University of Adelaide in 2008. He has a keen interest in promoting the profile of Heart Rhythm Disorders in the Asia-Pacific region, including Inherited Cardiac Disease. He is Chairing the upcoming “APHRS/HRS Expert Consensus Statement on the Investigation of Decedents and Patients with Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and of their Families” due for publication in October.
