James McNamara
Murdoch Children's Research Institute
James McNamara is the Team Leader of Muscle Signalling within the Heart Disease Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and a 2024 Heart Foundation Future Leader. He received his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2017, followed by an American Heart Associated-supported postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. His career has focused on the molecular signals that drive pathogenesis of inherited cardiomyopathies.
