Eddy Kizana
Dr Kizana is a clinician/scientist who divides his time between clinical cardiac electrophysiology and translational research. Dr Kizana is Cardiac Gene Therapy Group leader and Co-Director of the Centre for Heart Research at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research, The University of Sydney. To dovetail his clinical and research activities, he leads a research group, focused on novel gene therapies for cardiac disease. The group are developing AAV vectors for targeting human myocardium and using these in preclinical models of human disease.
