The Royal Melbourne Hospital

I am the Senior Genomics Scientist at Melbourne Health Pathology within the Royal Melbourne Hospital, one of Australia’s largest adult Hospitals. I have a PhD in medical sciences from the University of Queensland and conducted postdoctoral training in familial cancer genetics at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, USA, and the University of Melbourne. In 2018, I transitioned into Diagnostic Genomics where I have developed extensive expertise in variant interpretation over various disease specialities (including neurogenetics, cardiac, and cancer). I am heavily involved in the variant interpretation community through education and membership in multiple curation expert panels.
