Mark Pocock

Mark completed his undergraduate and masters studies in biotechnology at Monash University, where he developed a strong interest in the commercialisation of biomedical research. He then moved to Brisbane to undertake a PhD with the Cardiac Bioengineering Lab at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research. The aim of the project is to use human cardiac organoids to model ryanodine receptor-mediated arrhythmias and develop new therapies for preventing them.
