William Parsonage

Prof William Parsonage is a Senior Staff Cardiologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Visiting Cardiologist with Queensland Cardiovascular Group,  and Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health at Queensland University of Technology where he is Clinical Director of AusHSI – The Australian Centre for Health Service Innovation.

A graduate of University of Nottingham, UK where he also completed a clinical research fellowship and the higher degree of Doctor of Medicine he migrated to Australia in 2000 to complete cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital.

In 2008 he led the introduction of the first multidisciplinary obstetric cardiology service in Australia. He sits on the Queensland Maternal Mortality Committee and the executive steering committee of the European Society of Cardiology’s global Registry of Pregnancy and Cardiovascular Disease (ROPAC).
