James Hudson

James completed a Bachelor of Chemical and Biological Engineering followed by a PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Queensland. He then did a postdoc with Professor Wolfram-Hubertus Zimmermann in Goettingen, Germany. Since 2014, James’ lab has brought together engineering and cell biology disciplines to develop human cardiac organoid screening platforms and determine the molecular drivers of cardiac maturation. He is now generating a comprehensive ‘Cardiopedia’ as the focus of his prestigious Snow Medical Fellowship (2021-2028).
