Jon Skinner is paediatric cardiologist/electrophysiologist at Starship Children’s Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, and Professor in child health at Auckland University. He leads the national arrhythmia service for children and adults with congenital heart disease and the Cardiac Inherited Disease Group and the NZ national cardiac inherited disease registry. He is currently chair of the genetic council of CSANZ. He is an editorial board member of Heart Rhythm and has authored over 120 peer reviewed scientific articles. His research focus is long QT syndrome and sudden death in the young.
