Jodie Ingles

Dr Jodie Ingles is a genetic counsellor with over 10 years experience working with families with genetic heart diseases. In 2011 she completed a PhD and leads the Clinical Public Health Group in the Molecular Cardiology Research Program, Centenary Institute; and is a Senior Lecturer, Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney. Her research focuses around the management and psychosocial implications of all aspects of genetic heart diseases, including sudden cardiac death. Jodie established the Australian Genetic Heart Disease Registry in 2011 as part of her PhD, and she continues to be the National Coordinator (www.heartregistry.org.au).
